This position has the opportunity to impact that daily life of students, as well as staff and faculty by maintaining office space, classrooms, restrooms, hallways, etc. They will also help support events on campus when those events happen in the buildings they are assigned to. This role will primarily be responsible to ensure clean and sanitary conditions for academic and administrative spaces.
Primary responsibilities of the position include coordinating the recruitment of students from a specific geographical region, visiting targeted high schools, and attending select college fair programs. Duties also include interviewing prospective students on campus and assisting with other admissions-related activities and events as assigned. Extensive, primarily weekday overnight travel up to fifteen weeks in the fall and twelve weeks in the spring is required. Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends for scheduled group events and rotating primarily Saturday office coverage.
The Admissions Counselor/Inclusive Recruitment Coordinator actively works to enroll diverse prospective students at Luther College via in-person and virtual synchronous and asynchronous recruitment interactions. This position is responsible for meeting yearly application, acceptance, and deposit goals, as well as assisting the Director of Admissions and Vice President for Enrollment Management in enhancing Luther’s efforts to enroll more students from historically marginalized backgrounds.
This position is charged with maximizing Luther’s recruitment efforts with prospective students with an interest in music as an academic major/minor and/or activity.
Coordinates all aspects of a campus visit for prospective students beginning with the initial contact via phone/electronic request. Arranges all activity requests including but not limited to campus tours, admissions counselor meetings, class/rehearsal/athletic practice observations, and faculty/coach/staff meetings. Creates all necessary paperwork and reminders to those involved in the visit. Assists in the supervision of student workers, and completes other duties as assigned.
Performs a variety of administrative duties for the Executive Director and Associate Directors of Alumni Relations and supports the operations of the Alumni Office. Responsible for all event preparation – registration, check-in lists, name tags, payment, etc. Updates constituent information in the database and generates database reports. Responsible for greeting guests to Loyalty Hall and answering incoming calls to the Alumni and Development Offices.

Luther College is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Human Resources to strengthen its HR program. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Assistant Director will focus on managing the staff recruitment process and administering employee benefit programs, but will collaborate with the Director on the full range of HR services to advance College goals.
This position is a live-in position and is responsible for coordinating the student learning and community and personal development programs in one or more residence halls during the academic year. During the spring this position will report to the Associate Director of Campus Programming for 6-8 hours a week to assist with hiring and training summer staff along with managing the summer housing registration software, and other preparations for summer programs. During June and July this position will work full-time as the Summer Housing Director.
Serve as an assistant men’s and women’s soccer coach, and in collaboration with the head coaches, help coordinate all aspects of the program. Teach various courses in HPES as assigned.
This is a 10-month position that works August-May and is off during June and July.
As Assistant Volleyball Coach, this position will collaborate with the head volleyball coach to coordinate all aspects of the program, including coaching players, recruiting student athletes, and program administration.
As Dieseth Hall Manager, this position is responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive community and student development program in the residence hall. This includes providing leadership and on-going training for the Resident Assistants, mediating roommate conflicts, managing housing operations, and collaborating with the Area Coordinator in Towers as well as the student staff members.
This is a .83 FTE (full time August-May, off June-July) shared position that will be 50% assistant volleyball coach and 50% live-in hall manager.
Serve as a member of the athletics department administrative team, managing daily operations and planning in the Regents Center and outdoor practice and competition venues.

The Athletics Communications Fellow, working in concert with the Athletics Communications Director, markets and promotes Luther College through its NCAA Division III athletics programs, promoting the Luther brand through the stories of its student-athletes and the values that athletics brings to the student experience, the campus, and the community. The Fellow will assist with student worker mentoring and direction, social media engagement, athletics storytelling, and event coverage and follow-up reporting and promotions during overlapping home athletic events
Provide support to campus via movement of materials around campus. This support includes acceptance and delivery of incoming freight, delivering materials for campus events, and movement of offices and furniture.
The assistant coach for football will assist in preparation for practices and game plans for either the offensive or defensive side of the ball.

The Director of Admissions leads a team of 10 professionals in the Office of Admissions. The Director serves on the division’s leadership team with the Vice President and the Director of Financial Aid Operations and is an important partner in guiding Luther’s enrollment strategy. In collaboration with the Vice President, the Director works to shape the development of communication, recruitment, and retention strategies; leads intentional diversity initiatives; creates admission policies and procedures; and manages the day-to-day operations of the admissions office.
The Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness takes a leading role in developing institutional self-knowledge and an understanding of the institution’s competitive position by collecting, organizing, and interpreting institutional data that supports decision making by academic and administrative departments.
Provide culturally sensitive leadership and supervision for all areas of safety and security for a residential college campus, including personnel management, budgeting, program purchasing, training and federal reporting/disclosure mandates. The Director is also responsible for ensuring the appropriate development of emergency policies, implementing emergency planning, and providing emergency information to students, faculty, and staff.

The primary responsibility of this position will be for clinical responsibilities within the counseling service. The position will participate in outreach and education responsibilities as directed and identified. The position is also responsible to provide consultation within settings of student life, athletics, academic departments and other constituents across campus. This college mental health professional provides the highest level of ethical counseling services for students and delivers a full range of services to student clients and to the campus community. Services include culturally and trauma informed assessment, individual and group counseling; crisis intervention; case management including referral to off-campus mental health resources; consultation; response to college-wide crisis, and outreach programming. This position requires the ability to function independently and effectively in responding to a wide variety of student mental health issues, including issues that are serious and involve significant risk. The position requires on going data analysis regarding the effectiveness of mental health counseling, following the trends within college mental health and the developmental needs of college-aged students.
Advise students interested in participating in off-campus programs; coordinate administration of assigned off-campus programs; collaborate with colleagues on the work of the Center for Global· Learning. Direct supervising responsibilities for student workers, recent graduate intern.
