The Admissions Counselor/Inclusive Recruitment Coordinator actively works to enroll diverse prospective students at Luther College via in-person and virtual synchronous and asynchronous recruitment interactions. This position is responsible for meeting yearly application, acceptance, and deposit goals, as well as assisting the Director of Admissions and Vice President for Enrollment Management in enhancing Luther’s efforts to enroll more students from historically marginalized backgrounds.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends for scheduled group events and rotating Saturday office coverage.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: • No anticipated supervisory experience of full-time exempt or non-exempt employees. May have functional supervisory responsibilities over student work study employees.
This position requires traveling on a regular basis throughout the year. Must be able to lift and transport admissions recruitment material weighing up to 25 lbs. When in the office: sedentary work. Sitting, standing, and walking in well-lighted and well-ventilated office.
