• Education and knowledge: Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree preferred
• Experience: 3-5 of successful college or HS coaching experience 
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff and students in a wide variety of situations
• May require exposure to adverse environmental conditions such as noise, extreme temperatures, inclement weather, and other adversities as the incumbent performs duties and responsibilities in both an indoor and outdoor setting as well as occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and/or the ability to lift, carry, push or pull or otherwise move objects with a limited amount of force.

Head Soccer Coach - 68.5%

• Serve as the head coach for the women’s soccer program
• Plan and attend practices, competitions, meetings, planning sessions, and other essential soccer-related activities
• Responsible for the administration and management of the women’s soccer program
• Responsible for budget of program
• Actively participate in the recruitment of student-athletes
• Demonstrate professionalism and engagement in professional development activities, including but not limited to, knowledge acquisition, staying current with teaching techniques, strategies, and trends, attending professional meetings, and serving in leadership positions in professional organizations
• Adhere to the rules, policies, and regulations established by Luther College, the American Rivers Conference (ARC), and the NCAA
• Demonstrate a willingness to support the mission, philosophy, and goals of Luther College, NCAA III, and ARC

Athletics Administration - 31.5%

• Create & Manage Rosters & Competition Reports for 19 Varsity Sports - submit to A-R-C and NCAA 
• Assist Coordinator to Certify Eligibility of Student Athletes: enrollment status, grade reporting, seasons used, semesters available, etc 
• Attend Eligibility Meetings: Submit NCAA Forms, Meal Waivers, Student Reference Requests, Everfi rosters, etc. 
• Assist Coordinator to Complete Required Conference & NCAA Reports: NCAA Demographics and Sport Sponsorship 
• Organize Head Coaches to Complete their Declaration of Playing & Practice Seasons Paperwork 
• Chi Alpha Sigma - Determine Eligibility, Submit to Chi Alpha Sigma Office & Luther College Dean's Office 
• Assist Coordinator to Request, Complete & Submit Transfer Releases & Tracers for student-athletes.
• Update NCAA Celebratory Signing Letters and Distribute them to Head Coaches 
• Other duties assigned by Compliance Coordinator
